As oasis away from the crowds.
Our 450 square meter villa sleeps up to 11 guests and has three separate living areas so you can enjoy each other’s company and then retreat to your private wing for the night.
The 200-year-old stone villa, originally built by a marine merchant for his family, was restored and renovated in 2018 while preserving as much of its original charm as possible.
The location is in a small town called Metkovic, conveniently located halfway between Dubrovnik and Split, on the Neretva River. Location was featured in The Guardian newspaper. Enjoy a short walk to a farmer’s market, food market, restaurants, cafes, boutiques, nature hiking, and more.
Take a dip in the Neretva River across the street, or drive down to the local sand beach, only 15 minutes away. Visit the Narona Museum only 3 km away and experience the site and ruins of the Roman temple to Augustus. Enjoy our local delicacies of frog and eel at one of a number of local restaurants.
Visit the ancient city of Mostar in neighboring Bosnia and Hercegovina just 40 minutes away. Climb Apparition Hill in the farming village of Medugorje where the Virgin Mary appeared to group of shepherd children in the 1980s, only 25 minutes away.
Private driver for hire is also available, along with bike and kayak rentals.
Amenities
Our villa features a terraced garden with swimming pool, sunbathing areas, relaxation lounge with river view, mini bocce ball court, bbq/grill, and two outdoor dining areas.
The ground floor of the villa houses a wine vault with guest access, and the fourth floor has been transformed into an entertainment area with a video projector, television, ping-pong table, darts, fitness area, and bar.
Each of the three living areas has a bedroom, bathroom, living room, and kitchen.
